Warehouse Operative (Day shift)
Pay - £24,000 a year

This role is perfect for a recent Warehouse Apprentice looking to take their next step!
Working pattern:
Start: 8:30 am
Finish: 5:30 pm
The role:
Operate Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) including a motorised pallet truck, forklift, counterbalance, reach truck (or other MHE) to load stores, transport pallets, rearrange stock or place heavy/large objects, as appropriate.
Ensuring products are stored safely and labelled correctly.
Ensure orders are packaged and labelled correctly to prevent returned orders.
Assist in loading/unloading with appropriate apparatus and following safety protocol.
Inspect stock for defects or damage, reporting any concerns to the shift manager.
Occasionally assisting customers at the Trade Counter.
Maintain accurate records of inventory.
Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies.
Report Health and Safety concerns immediately, following the reporting procedure.
Rely on appropriate equipment/tools for the job, following the correct system.
Be aware of, and participate in, the appropriate training to become multi-skilled.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment in your area.
