Do you fancy working in one of London's iconic artistic venues on the bank of the river Thames?
Swan at Shakespeare’s Globe is an exciting, dynamic company based on Bankside, operating a diverse and lively business, incorporating a busy restaurant, bars, high profile events, coffee shops and outside bars.
We are looking for an experienced, passionate and enthusiastic Receptionist to work with us. We are open all day serving modern British food from morning breakfast to evening cocktails and everything in between!
Key responsibilities
To be a notable presence, hosting the site in a welcoming and engaging way.
To maintain the highest personal standard of presentation, dress and behaviour.
To handle guest requests, enquiries and complaints effectively to improve the reputation of the venue.
To be a dynamic, enthusiastic and well-presented member of the team.
To have complete venue knowledge, including understanding the interface between the Swan and the Globe Theatre.
To build a strong relationship with each department and Head of Department, to ensure the site runs smoothly.
To be able to respond to guest feedback.
Knowledge of OpenTable preferable.
