Great opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative for our client who is the world's largest independent provider of catering services for airlines.

Staffline are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives in Gatwick.

This is a full time role, working 40 hours per week. Patterns available are:

- 4 on 4 off - 6pm to 6am night shifts for the Chiller Department
- 5 on 3 off - 6am to 3pm day shifts for other departments.

The rate of pay is as follows:

£13.20 per hour basic and £19.80 per hour for overtime - Nights (Chiller Department)
£11.44 per hour basic and £17.60 per hour for overtime - Days (Other Departments)

Your Time at Work

As a Warehouse Operative your duties will include:

- To load / off-load lorries, stack shelves and replenish equipment/food items.
- From specification, accurately palletize shipments.
- Conduct quality, and product date checks.
- Daily stock count of the list
- Stock rotation
- Clean the area
- Your day may involve preparing food tray sets and conduction temperature and quality checks.
- Other duties include checking stock and flight trollies, unloading incoming trollies from flights in preparation for cleaning.
-Manual handling involved.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect Warehouse Operative will be a team player and keen to learn, will have good communication skills and basic maths skills.

All applicants will need the right to work in the UK, on a full-time basis. You will be prepared to go under Basic Criminal Record Check and be able to provide details of their last 5 years of employment/unemployment history.

No previous experience necessary.
