Full job description

We are hiring for Warehouse Manager position one of client in North york location.

Job Title – Warehouse Manager position

Job Type - Full-time, On-site

Location – North York, ON

Salary - $22-24.00 per hour(Depend upon experience)

Working hours – Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Duties:

• Oversee Warehouse Operations: Manage all aspects of warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular audits, and implement strategies to minimize stock discrepancies and shrinkage.\
• Space Utilization: Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems to maximize space utilization and efficiency.
• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of warehouse personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
• Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness among warehouse staff.
• Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and implement measures to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Quality Control: Implement quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency in order fulfillment and shipment.
• Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely receipt of goods and resolve any issues related to deliveries or quality.
• Reporting: Generate regular reports on warehouse performance, including key metrics such as inventory levels, order accuracy, and on-time delivery.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience of 2-3 years as a Warehouse Manager or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics principles.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
• Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
• Forklift certification (Preferred).
