Part Time Nursery Kitchen Assistant Required
Pay - £10.50 - £11.45 an hour
Job type - Part-time
Shift and schedule - Monday to Friday
Location - London SE4
Working hours 9am -3pm
Responsibilities:
Basic preparation of nutritious and healthy food and beverages suitable for all centre users (e.g. preparation of vegetables and snacks, taking into account cultural, religious and dietary requirements of the clients and staff).
Cooking of fresh food.
General kitchen and dining room duties (e.g. washing up, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables).
Cleaning of the kitchen, its surrounds and equipment, with due regard to Health and Safety and hygiene issues and safer food better business regulations.
Transporting and serving of meals.
Ability to work as part of a team and assume responsibility in the absence of the Cook (e.g. prepare snacks and drinks).
Assisting with the children in the dining room area and elsewhere.
Assist the cook in maintaining the food stocks for the Centre including effective stock rotation.
