Looking for Full Time Warehouse and Trade Counter Operative
We are currently seeking a Warehouse/Trade Counter Operative to join our team in the bustling city of London. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse duties including stock management, loading and unloading, and have a full UK driving license.
Duties:
- Load and unload lorries with incoming and outgoing goods
- Organise and stock materials in designated warehouse locations
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes
- Build pallets for shipment according to specifications
- Handle heavy lifting tasks as required
- Cutting of cable (training provided)
- Delivering goods when necessary
Requirements:
- Mechanical knowledge for operating warehouse equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently
- Experience in loading, unloading, and stocking procedures
- Familiarity with shipping, receiving, and materials handling processes
- Prior experience in a warehouse is advantageous but not necessary
