We are currently looking to recruit Canteen Operation Workers to join our team based in West Drayton, Prologis Park and work across Make & Pack department. You must be a great communicator with a can-do attitude
The General Operator (Canteen) maintains and runs the operation of the staff canteen always ensuring compliance with Food safety and all other regulations, whilst ensuring the standards are maintained in line with company policy and procedures.
Scope of the role:
To oversee and manage own area of responsibility, taking ownership and accountability for meeting operational objectives and targets. Act as a role model for gategroup company values.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensuring Compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
Overseeing the ordering of supplies in a timely manner
Ensuring stock rotation in a proper and efficient manner
Maintaining health and safety standards in the canteen premises
Responsible for training of staff including food preparation and heating
Ensure compliance within the relevant documents to be completed
Manage a small team of 4 staff daily
Responsible for controlling and minimizing food and stock wastage
