We are seeking a Kitchen Helper to join our team in a bustling mobile catering setting. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support the kitchen staff in food preparation tasks
- Assist with basic cooking duties under the supervision of chefs
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and food preparation areas
- Handle and store food ingredients appropriately
- Wash, peel, chop, cut, and cook food items as directed
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
Experience:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary environment is advantageous
- Familiarity with restaurant or hotel kitchen operations is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from chefs
- Basic knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
