Part Time Kitchen Porter and Kitchen Assistant Required
Job Type - Part-time
Pay - £10.50-£11.50 per hour
Expected hours - 10 – 30 per week
Location - London SE21
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team in a bustling restaurant or hotel setting. The ideal candidate will assist in the smooth running of the kitchen, supporting the culinary team in food preparation and maintaining cleanliness.
Duties:-
Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area- Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment- Keep kitchen floors and work surfaces clean and sanitised- Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries- Follow health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications:-
Previous experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hotel environment is advantageous- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques is desirable- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness- Willingness to help out wherever needed in a hospitality setting
