What we look for in a Kitchen Assistant:
Completes opening and close down procedures and set-up to desired standard
Cleans kitchen areas to ensure compliance to legislative standards and to follow Young’s processes and procedures
Receives and unpacks food deliveries to required legislative and Young’s standards and ensures all stock is stored, labelled and rotated correctly
Ensures the Kitchen Diary is completed throughout the day as required
Attends and actions information discussed at pre and post shift briefings
Adheres to licensing, health and safety, food safety and fire legislation
Adheres to specific house rules and standards as defined by the management team
