Full Time Warehouse Operator Required in East London
Contract - Permanent
Salary Minimum - £22,500.00
Salary Maximum - £23,500.00
Location - Romford, Bampton Road
Daily Work Times - Sunday to Thursday 10:00pm - 6:00am
Basic Hours Per Week - 37.50
Working as part of a busy warehouse team, you will be responsible for all transportation of waste materials and the operation of recycling equipment in a safe manner, incoming and outgoing stock movements, ensuring that products are reliably tracked, stored and shipped on-time and in accordance with Good Distribution Practices and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Main Responsibilities & Duties
Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles
Checking for damaged or missing items for onward storage in the warehouse
Keeping an accurate record of the stock on the ERP system (SAP)
Operating a forklift truck to move and rearrange stock and ensure that products are stored safely
Picking orders using a hand-held scanner and prepare for packing and onward distribution
To assist with stock control and inventory procedures to maximise availability and minimise waste
To ensure the safe and appropriate storage of medicines including environmental controls
Providing timely and accurate delivery of outputs
Maintain good knowledge of relevant governance, SOPs and ways of working
Responsible for maintaining appropriate levels of housekeeping and cleanliness in the area in compliance with Good Manufacturing (GMP) and Good Distribution (GDP) Practice
Additional Responsibilities
To work as part of a team and actively demonstrate a willingness to support and achieve the overall business objectives
Maintain excellent support, communications and relationships with all departments
Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations
Where GxP data is generated, ensure that the principles of Data Integrity are adhered to
