Night Shift Hotel Job in Leicester

We're looking for a friendly go-getter to join our hotel team at the ibis Leicester City. Experience is valued but not essential but a great attitude is a must-have. This is a night position on a 28-hour a week contract for £12.00 an hour, working Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.
You'll be known as a Guest Service Assistant (GSA) and you could be the first person a guest meets at our hotel so you’ll need to be friendly, professional and confident. You’ll be responsible for welcoming and processing all of the late arrival guests to the hotel, dealing with any last-minute reservations and most likely some early morning departures too. You’ll also be responsible for the comfort of all our guests especially throughout the night and provide continuity of service for Front Office over a period of 24 hours. You’ll be great at juggling tasks and turning your hand to many different things. We want you to be someone who makes our guests feel welcome at the ibis Leicester City.
What does a shift typically look like?
As a Nights GSA you'll often be working alone so you'll be someone who's happy getting on with their task list and looking after your guests. So what will you usually be doing?
Answering guests queries at Reception or by phone
Welcoming late arrivals and checking them in
Helping departing guests at check-out
Taking late food or drink orders at the Bar
Running hotel reports
Preparing the breakfast buffet
Doing security checks around the hotel
Ensuring the hotel is clean, tidy and well presented
If you're someone who can really shine in a busy setting, who is comfortable meeting new people and who is passionate about customer service, we want to hear from you. Flexibility to cover holidays or sickness should be expected. Experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
