Duties
- Provide excellent customer service
- Take Food orders
- Communicate with the kitchen staff
- Till Management
- Cash handling
- Assisting with basic food preparation activities, including washing, peeling and cutting vegetables
- Pot washing
- Assist the head chef in overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and standards
- Ensure food quality and presentation meets the restaurant's standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Setting up dining areas by arranging chairs, tables, banners and tents, according to the Catering Manager or Events Manager’s instructions
- Loading and unloading food, tableware and catering supplies on and off of catering vehicles
- Cleaning and sanitising all tableware and chafing dishes before catering events
- Clearing away catering equipment after an event
- Undertake on and off the job training as required by management
