Scope of role

We are currently looking for a new full-time member of our growing team to work in our quality control room, inspecting and preparing products for sale. Our team is built of hard-working team players that will always go the extra mile for every customer and colleague.

You will have to be able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and be calm and adaptable. You will need to be reliable, conscientious and have excellent time management. It is essential that you have a “can-do” attitude as we are a small team and all rely on each other to perform their duties to the best of our abilities.

Warehouse duties

· Unpacking of new stock and correctly restocking the shelves this including manual warehouse work, attention to detail when signing and checking deliveries back to the purchase orders.

· Hands-on preparing each product, this will include the use of hand tools, applying tape and glue, repairing any damaged items

· Correctly following company processes for documenting faulty products

· Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders in a timely manner.

· Processing return orders

Experience of the following is preferred:

· Warehouse picking and packing: 1 year (Preferred)

· HIGH Attention to detail and ability to keeping work areas clean and tidy always

· Excellent organisation and time management skills

· Works well under pressure and meets deadlines

· Automotive knowledge

· Good team working skills and the ability to work unsupervised

· Good communication skills

· Good literacy and numeracy skills

· An awareness of health & safety issues

· Previous experience of working in the automotive industry or a passion for cars

· GCSE C and above is preferred

Shift Pattern:

Monday to Friday - 9.00AM - 5:00PM

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £23,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
