Required for a modern warehouse operation in Romiley, Stockport (situated next to Romiley train station).
You will be someone who enjoys physical work as your role will be to help our friendly team to download and pick orders, pack orders, offload stock and load cartons onto couriers etc. There are opportunities for progression to other roles in the warehouse for the right candidate.
Full training provided.
Approximately 30 hours a week which will range between 8.30 and 3pm (include a paid 20 min lunch break) so you need a little flexibility.
The job would suit someone who lives fairly locally (no more than a single bus or train ride away). Full training provided.
You should be physically fit with no health conditions that may be adversely affected by an active job that involves packing goods and lifting packed cartons. GCSE Maths and English are an advantage for this role to enable you to quickly read and interpret more complex orders. It is also an advantage to have good skills in using basic packages such as Word, Excel etc. Wage dependent on age/experience.
