Full job description
JPHA is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Packer and Maintenance Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products are packed accurately and efficiently while maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment. This position is crucial to our operations, ensuring that our customers receive their orders promptly and in perfect condition.
Key Responsibilities:
Packing and Despatching:
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare wine bottles and other related products for despatch.
- Ensure that all orders are packed securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Label and organise packed orders for courier collection or delivery.
Warehouse Organisation:
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in the warehouse.
- Regularly check stock levels and report any discrepancies to the warehouse manager.
- Assist in restocking shelves and organising inventory as needed.
Maintenance Duties:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and waste removal.
- Ensure all packing materials are stocked and organised.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management immediately.
Inventory Management Support:
- Assist in periodic stock counts and audits.
- Organise returned products and prepare them for restocking or disposal.
Qualifications:
- GCSEs or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or packing role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems is a plus.
- Physical ability to lift and move boxes up to 15kg.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £11.50-£12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
