Licata are the leading supplier of external wall insulation & render systems in the South East. Based in the building & construction sector. We have a large network of installers across the UK who use our systems and materials, and we now have branches throughout London, Kent & Brimingham .
We are excited to be looking for a full-time Warehouse Operative to work with our Warehouse Operatives with all aspects of supply chain management.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be responsible for all stock coming in & out of the branch.
- Checking delivery items against delivery notes & purchase orders.
- Manage all packing, mixing paints & renders using various tools and warehouse machinery.
- Have the knowledge of mixing machines for renders, paints and primers.
- Understand and learn the various products and systems.
- Be able to operate a forklift.
- Make sure the operation follows the correct Health & Safety and Fire Procedures.
- Work as part of the team at a fast pace, getting deliveries ready as quick as possible to realise one’s full potential every day.
- Ensure the stock is rotated in date order.
- Keep the warehouse & yard are clean & safe.
- Report issues to management at the earliest possibility.
KEY SKILLS:
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Good time-management, delegation and problem solving.
- Excellent customer service
- Determination to complete every to-do list on time and maximise productivity.
- Drive a fork-lift
Job Features
Salary: Starting from £30,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: (Monday - Friday)7am-5pm (Saturday 8-12am)
