Cake box is a young but fast growing company in the retail market. We have been around since 2009 with a over 200 shops across the country and growing. Due to this further expansion we are looking for new staff with and full training given to successful candidates.

Job description

We are looking for like-minded, enthusiastic and energetic individuals to join our team at Front & Back of House. It can be a fast pace environment but a fun place to work in. No previous experience is required as you will be trained and supervised from day one. We just require the keen attitude and a willingness to learn.

Some of the Duties & Responsibilities include,

· Preparing the shop before opening for trading.

· Maintaining front of house cleanliness throughout the day.

· Working in conjunction with our back of house team members to maintain the Cake Box standards always.

· Keeping a check on quality of cakes before opening shop.

· Greet and deal with customers requests with a smile

· Serve customers and take payments.

· Taking cake orders from customers in store.

· Answering the phone calls.

· Boxing cakes and slices correctly

· End of day cleaning with all staffs

· Learning new decorating skills alongside experienced decorators

· Learning how to write messages on cakes for customer orders

· Decorating cakes and slices for display and filling Display Fridges

· Decorating customer orders

If you are selected you will be invited to come in for an assessment. This is a 4 hour period of time where you will work alongside a senior team leader. This will give us a better understanding of if you are the right person for this role, and of course is a great opportunity for you to see whether the role is right for you.

Salary: National minimum wages applicable
