Looking for Full Time Seasonal Warehouse Operative
Job type - Full-time
Shift and schedule - 10 hour shift
Location - Leicester
Here at Marks Electrical, we are looking to add to our team of Warehouse Operatives to join our dedicated team in Leicester during our peak trading months!
Marks Electrical have been selling the best appliances and televisions to over a million satisfied customers for over 35 years, with over 3000 unique items in our 200,000 sq ft warehouse.
You will join on a temporary basis, and in return will receive a competitive salary plus benefits.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
· Checking delivery notes against goods received, ensuring these are cross-matched and comply with the goods ordered before booking in.
· Loading and unloading of trailers (Shift Dependent).
· Processing delivery paperwork.
· Picking and Processing items inline with the customer demand.
· Ensuring all company procedures are followed and that the orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
· Notifying the Line Manager of all accidents, incidents, ill health reports and near misses and participating in site HSE initiatives, including near miss reporting, positive safety discussions, 5S.
Skills / Experience Required:
· Previous experience gained within a warehouse environment
· Counterbalance forklift licence
· You will be self-motivated and have a dedicated approach
· Strong communication and people skills
· The ability to always pay strong attention to detail
Working pattern:
4 on, 4 off shift pattern 6am - 6pm
Temporary contract 15/10/24 - 04/01/25
