Part Time Host Hostess Needed in Restaurant

Restaurant Host/Hostess (30 hours/week or pro-rata for part-timers)
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
· Keeps their work area tidy and clean with all the equipment and supplies required for the service, keeping menus and bill holders in good condition.
· Participates in briefings at the beginning of each shift to get information on dishes of the day, VIPs, groups, events, and general comments and sharing information.
· Consistently offers a warm and professional welcome and farewell to guests and customers on arrival and departure, always with an impeccable posture and personal presentation.
· Greets customers and lead them to their table, walking safely, pointing out any steps or uneven surfaces to avoid accidents.
· Responsible for taking reservations by phone, accurately noting customer data: name, time booked, number of diners, place where they are staying and telephone number.
What we are looking for
Customer service skills
Be able to stand for a long period of time
Fluent in English
Excellent grooming and presentation standards
The successful candidate must already have eligibility to work in the UK.
