COLDSTORE WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE
Job Title – Coldstore Warehouse Operative – Reporting to Logistics Manager - London
Location – Park Royal - Townsend Industrial Estate, Waxlow Road, London NW10 7NU
Department – Logistics London UK - Working in Coldstore Freezer.

With a turnover of over 15m in 2022 we pride ourselves in delivering a high quality and comprehensive product range, supplying quality desserts to some of the most prestigious names in the hospitality sector. Our Head Office, manufacturing plant, storage and distribution centre are based in Gorton Manchester, with an additional storage and distribution centre in London.
In 2016 we became a fully owned subsidiary of the French company “La Compagnie des desserts” who operate throughout Europe, including France, Spain and Portugal.

THE ROLE
Based at our Coldstore and Distribution Centre in Park Royal- London, this is a hands-on warehouse role, including manual warehouse duties. Picking, labelling orders ready for delivery. Re-plenishing stock received from the Manchester Distribution Centre.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES
Ø Picking and labelling orders for next day distribution
Ø Ensuring high standards are maintained within the warehouse operation.
Ø Assisting in the accurate control of both inbound and outbound stock.
Ø Maintain a good working relationship with other members of the team.
Ø Keeping all areas clean and tidy at all times
Ø To work in compliance with the health and safety policy
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Ø Minimum 1 year warehousing experience preferred
Ø Experience in working in a frozen food environment preferred
Ø VNA or counterbalance -advantageous but not essential
Ø Good written and spoken communication skills.
Ø Highly motivated and ambitious individual.
Ø Be able to work on own initiative and manage time effectively.
Ø Accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
PACKAGE
Ø 40 hour week 8.30am – 4.30pm includes 30minute paid lunch break.
Ø 20 days annual leave (pro-rata) plus bank holidays.
Ø Wage £12.0 per hour
Ø Nest pension scheme – 3% employer contribution
