We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating an enjoyable atmosphere for our guests by providing exceptional service and expertly crafted beverages. You will be responsible for mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks according to standard recipes while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and guidelines.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and responding to inquiries about drink selections.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
  • Monitor customer behaviour to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with licensing laws.
  • Restock supplies as needed, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a balanced till.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
  • Stay updated on new drink recipes, trends, and bar equipment to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage trends is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Must possess a valid personal licence or be willing to obtain one as required by local regulations.
  • A friendly disposition with a passion for providing outstanding customer service is essential.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £8.60-£20.69 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
