Overview
Looking for a roofing labourer,must have experience working on roofs,also needs to hold a drivers licence and be over 25
Responsibilities
- Assist in the construction and maintenance of structures, including roofing and masonry work.
- Perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks as required.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements.
- Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various tasks.
- Support carpentry, plumbing, welding, and other trades as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment to ensure safety.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the day.
- Familiarity with reading schematics and technical drawings is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and other equipment safely.
- Basic knowledge of masonry, carpentry, plumbing, or welding techniques is desirable.
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to safety practices on-site.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
