Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Food Production Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working on a production line, handling food products, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and hygiene are met. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery and production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Handle food products, ensuring all hygiene and safety regulations are followed.
- Conduct quality control checks and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to food safety and health & safety regulations.
- Contribute to packing, labelling, and storing finished products.
- Manage stock rotation, receiving and storage of goods.
- Be willing to assist in various sections of the business when necessary
- Able to engage with heavy lifting
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if required.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations (training will be provided).
