Looking for Full Time Warehouse Assistant Job
Job Type - Full time
Salary - £25,652
Location - Basildon
As a Warehouse Assistant based in Basildon, you’ll be responsible for:
- Completing general warehouse duties in a fast paced environment.
- Booking stock in on the system and putting it away in the correct locations.
- Picking and packing customer orders for same day courier pick ups or next day deliveries - this will involve some heavy lifting
- Unloading and loading vehicles
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and adhering to Health and Safety guidelines.
- This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday on a rota basis between 08.00am - 6.00pm.
And here’s what we’d like you to have:
- Previous experience in a busy warehouse environment
- Good communication skills
- Strong numeracy skills and PC literacy
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn, including the completion of necessary training (forklift licence training will be provided)
- A strong work ethic
