Looking for Warehouse Operative Job
Salary - £12.21/hour
Location - Coulsdon, Greater London
Our client is a leading paint distribution network, operating nine distribution centers across the UK. They supply high-quality paints to local businesses specialising in furniture manufacturing, joinery, windows, and doors. We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join their team at the Coulsdon site. This role involves supporting the warehouse operations by managing stock, packing orders, and ensuring timely deliveries to customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Pick and prepare customer orders from stock efficiently and accurately
- Load delivery vans each morning to ensure timely deliveries
- Conduct goods-in checks and ensure all stock is correctly recorded
- Assist customers collecting orders from the warehouse, providing excellent service
- Pack orders to be dispatched for overnight delivery
- Conduct regular stock checks to maintain accurate inventory levels
- Rotate stock to ensure proper stock rotation and minimise waste
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential—full training will be provided
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual with the ability to follow procedures accurately
- Good communication skills, with the ability to work well within a team
- Basic math skills for stock management and order checking
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am to 5:00 pm
- Friday: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
- 1-hour break daily
