This role is crucial for ensuring that stock is received, stored, and dispatched efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality control. Key Responsibilities Goods In:
- Receiving deliveries and checking for accuracy against purchase orders.
- Inspecting goods for quality, damage, or discrepancies.
- Unloading, unpacking, and properly storing stock.
- Updating stock records in the stock management system and liaising with the warehouse manager.
Goods Out:
- Picking, packing, and dispatching customer and wholesale orders.
- Ensuring accurate labelling and order documentation.
- Coordinating with couriers and arranging shipments.
- Conducting final quality checks before dispatch.
- Ensuring all parcels are ready for collection by DPD at 4 PM daily.
General Duties:
- Assisting with production tasks as needed, including packing and cooking products.
- Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Assisting with stock rotation and inventory management.
- Following health and safety regulations.
- Using warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks and forklifts (if licensed).
- Handling customer inquiries and occasional face-to-face interactions.
- Managing and responding to emails efficiently.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not essential.
- Experience using stock management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Strong email communication skills.
- Basic IT skills for stock management and order processing.
- Comfortable with occasional customer-facing interactions.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads safely.
