Jongor Hire is a family business who have been providing high-quality catering equipment and walk in Cold Rooms to businesses for over 50 years. We fulfil over 2,000 orders per year, from supplying hire equipment to events such as Chelsea Flower Show, Royal Ascot, Silverstone and The Open Golf, to supplying temporary kitchen units to the NHS and National Grid.
Working as part of the Warehouse team, our Warehouse Assistants will work in the countback section, counting back hire catering equipment like crockery, cutlery & glass which has been returned by our clients. This is a physically demanding job, our kit can be palletised or items such as glasses or plates can be stored in racks.
You need to be able to commute to our warehouse in central Bristol. We are looking for people who can work the following shifts:
Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4pm
During June and July all staff are required to work additional hours, usually Monday to Saturday, 6am - 4pm
Essential Requirements
- Able to work within a team and independently to meet multiple deadlines
- Demonstrate a reasonable level of written and verbal communication skills in English, so able to understand instructions and perform tasks
- Ability to work accurately and methodically, dealing with counting and numbers
- Adaptability
- High organisational skills towards tasks
- Punctual and flexible approach to tasks and duties
Working Hours
- Predominately in May you’ll work Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4pm.
- During June and July all staff are required to work additional hours, usually Monday to Saturday, 7.30am - 6pm
- Hours worked over 40 is paid at x 1.25
- Weekend working and bank holiday working is paid at x 1.5
