What you’ll be doing
As a Warehouse Operative, you will work as part of a busy team, reporting to the Logistics Centre manager ensuring that the supply chain runs smoothly.
- Picking and packing goods, ready for delivery
- Moving products around the warehouse
- Keeping the wider workspace tidy at all times whilst ensuring health and safety measures are kept
- Loading / unloading lorries
- Booking in / Booking out goods
- Assisting in stock takes
- Using warehouse equipment such as operating pallet jacks
The skills you’ll need
We are looking for someone with previous experience in a similar background, who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has proven attention to detail and ability to work with valuable equipment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with all levels of the business
- Flexible and professional attitude to work
- Ability to work under pressure
- Fast learner and ability to take care of the finer details
- Strong attention to detail
- Candidates with prior forklift experience are preferred
