Role purpose:

To process the defective stock from engineers which may be customer or SCC owned through the repair centre or back in to the stores team. 

Security clearance or the willingness to apply will be required for this role.
 
Key responsibilities:

- Unload Vehicles using the correct MHE and PPE when using any loading bays. Correctly use the pallet trucks, trollies and move items in a safe and manageable way, including two-man lifts. 
- Scan and verify manifested returns, escalating if unsafe or if the courier has not delivered in safely to a loading bay.
- Escalate any delivery issues to the team and the respective courier, ensuring to check if the boxes are open, verify the returning reference etc.
- Document estimated dates in the system (D365) upon receipt of returned products, sending good products to the stores team to verify- and check, whilst retaining defective products.
- Verify the make, model, serial number and asset of returned products before transferring the product to the correct bin ID.
- Create repair centre work orders and RMA processing sheets, which displays all of the serial number relevant to the product. 
- Conduct thorough inspections, accurately documenting damages and communicating findings effectively. Detailed documentation, including descriptions and photographic evidence, ensures accountability and facilitates resolution. 
- Initiate configuration warranty processes when a product is deemed defective when being imaged.  Pass the new products to the repair centre to process via the warranty team, and create repair work orders to align engineers time and process.
- Process engineer returns, ensuring all products have return labels and any documentation relevant to the returns, such as warranty labels.

Skills and experience:

- Demonstrated ability to meticulously conduct inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies with a keen eye for accuracy.
- Must possess a high level of attention to detail to ensure the integrity of vehicle inventory records and other related data.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are needed to effectively interact with stakeholders, present data insights, and address concerns in weekly meetings.
- Must be able to articulate findings, propose solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- To provide timely and accurate updates, ensuring transparency and communication throughout the work order process.
- By offering clear updates, including any changes or challenges encountered, organizations can address issues promptly and facilitate coordination between teams or departments involved.
