About the Role: A supportive and caring individual is required as a Personal Assistant to help with day-to-day tasks and provide assistance with specific needs. The role is based in a private home, and you will be working directly with the client to enable them to live independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Domestic tasks such as laundry and cleaning.
- Shopping and community access.
- Meal preparation and batch cooking.
- Light gardening work, as the client enjoys growing their own food.
Requirements:
- A DBS check is required (cost covered by funding).
- Must be comfortable working in a home with two cats.
- Ideally, no COVID vaccinations.
- Non-smokers preferred, but open to applicants who smoke.
Skills & Qualities:
- Reliable, trustworthy, and compassionate.
- Comfortable with cooking, cleaning, and supporting independence.
- Respectful of pets and willing to work in a pet-friendly environment.
