Are you passionate about great food and friendly service? Houston & Hawkes are looking for a dependable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at our client site in central London.

This is a hands-on and varied role — ideal for someone who enjoys food service, supporting in the kitchen, and engaging with customers. You’ll assist with lunch service, prepare sandwiches and grab-and-go items, and occasionally cover the coffee shop.

🌟 About the Role:

As a Catering Assistant, you’ll play a key part in the smooth delivery of daily service. Working as part of a supportive team, you’ll help with food preparation, customer service, and general duties. The role offers a great work–life balance, with Monday to Friday hours only.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting with breakfast and lunch food service

- Serving customers in the catering area and coffee shop

- Keeping counters and displays clean, tidy and well-stocked

- Following food safety and health & safety procedures

- Supporting your colleagues where needed across the site

✅ What We’re Looking For:

- Previous experience in catering, hospitality or customer service (preferred)

- Friendly, reliable and approachable

- Team player with a flexible and helpful attitude

- Willingness to learn and take initiative

- Basic understanding of food hygiene (training provided)
