Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding hospitality, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued. Your responsibilities will encompass taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organised dining environment.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets our standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during service and food preparation
- Assist in the preparation of food items as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, providing excellent guest services
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Manage time effectively to accommodate busy periods while maintaining quality service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an Indian restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary experience is advantageous
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during peak hours
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively
