About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and organised Stock Controller / Warehouse Manager to oversee warehouse operations and stock management at our Cradley Heath site. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of a key operational role with the potential to transition into a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring accurate records and timely adjustments.
- Liaise with other departments regarding stock orders, discrepancies, and adjustments.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to procedures.
- Conduct regular stock checks and audits.
- Support the implementation of inventory control systems and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in warehouse management or stock control.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Comfortable using inventory management systems or software.
- A hands-on approach with attention to detail.
