Waitrose Wandsworth New Acres - New Shop Opening
We are excited to announce the opening of our next new convenience shop, located at Wandsworth New Acres! The shop will open its doors on the 2nd October, and we are now recruiting passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Partners. We will be looking for partners to start a few weeks prior to complete training before the shop opens.
We are offering permanent and temporary contracts with a variety of shift patterns to suit your availability, with an earliest start of 05:30 and latest finish of 23:00, and have both full-time and part-time roles available.
This role is eligible for Internal Transfers, Partners interested in transferring to Wandsworth New Acres Waitrose are invited to apply via Workday. Following application, they will be invited for a brief screening call with Talent Acquisition to discuss the hours that are available.

Key Responsibilities
Alongside the great service you provide to our customers, your role will involve a variety of shop-keeping related tasks to keep the operation running efficiently and productively. Responsibilities include:
- Stock replenishment - ensuring our shelves remain as full as possible and products are in the right place at the right time for our customers.
- Fulfilling online customer orders ready for our drivers to deliver their shopping direct to their doors.
- Reducing wastage by following product due diligence and markdowns to those reaching their sell by dates.
- Working with the wider shop team to support when needed including; checkout support, managing Click & Collect orders, fulfilling on-demand customer orders and more.
- Maintain a safe and tidy working environment with general shopkeeping tasks.
Essential skills/experience you'll need
- Communication skills to enable you to work effectively as part of a team and with our customers.
Desirable skills/experience you may have
- Experience of working in a customer facing role is welcomed.
- Up to date knowledge and strong interest in food and drink trends.
- Flexible approach to ensure the support of the whole branch.
