This role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business.

Job details:

The Warehouse and Goods In Operative is responsible for carrying out any role required of them within the warehouse environment. This can range from picking and packing of orders within the automated system, the medical bulk area, the fridge area, secure areas. The Goods-in operative is responsible for checking orders, put-away of stock and replenishment. Also carrying out roles within the transport environment. They are responsible for the overall processing of the customer orders efficiently.

Responsibilities:

- Where required must accurately assemble items from the pick documentation and ensure that the quantity picked is accurate.

- Special care must be taken to avoid damage and the appropriate bin/packaging used - all damages must be reported to the line team leader.

- Any pick face errors must be reported to the line team leaders immediately

- Hospital orders are assembled in the same way but must be given to the hospital checker to ensure accuracy

- Medical Bulk orders, Fridge orders & Secure area orders must be picked in the same way however each have specific criteria that will be covered through training

- Checking incoming orders, for damages, expiry dates, counting stock

- Put-away of stock to specific locations

- Replenishment of stock to shelves

- Awareness of Health & Safety procedures always.

- The warehouse area must be always kept clean and tidy and free from rubbish.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

Essential

- High Visual Accuracy

- Good verbal communication skills

- Basic written communication skills

- Basic numeracy and literacy

- Customer care

Desirable

- Any previous experience of working in a warehouse environment would be highly desirable

- Previous Goods In experience - stock checking, put-away, replenishment
