Role purpose:

To process the defective stock from engineers which may be customer or SCC owned through the repair centre or back in to the stores team.Create RMA’s (return merchandise authorization) when required. For repair, Repair and return or Unused process.

Security clearance or the willingness to apply will be required for this role.
 
Key responsibilities:

- Unloading Vehicles All members of the team have been Manual Handling trained  to use the correct MHE and PPE when using any loading bays. To correctly use the pallet trucks , trollies and move items in a safe and manageable way , including two man lifts. 
- Manifested returns  Any courier that delivers items to us has a manifest ,  can be scanned , has been verified and escalated if unsafe or not delivered in safely to a loading bay. Any delivery issue’s must be escalated to the team and escalated to the respective courier. We must also check if the boxes are open , verify the returning ref etc.
- Systematic checks When a product has been returned the system (D365) allows us to add an estimated date in to the returning RMA which is done by the goods-in team upon receipt.  If a defective product is returned then this stays with the goods-in team , if a good product is received then this will go to the stores team to verify / check.
- RMA Transfers When a product is returned we have to verify the product on make , model serial number and where applicable asset. Only once this has been confirmed then we must then transfer the product to the correct bin id. Fast moving products go to the repair centre , Slow moving products go to the Warehouse defective holding are until called off.
- Repair centre work order Once all of the details are verified and we are using the stock report supplied to us by the Logistics team which designates the usage and where the product goes. Then and only then we would create a Repair work order and create the RMA processing sheet, this displays all of the serial number relevant to the product. 
- Damages  Thorough inspections, accurately documenting damages, and communicating findings effectively. Detailed documentation, including descriptions and photographic evidence, ensures accountability and facilitates resolution. 
- Configuration process When a product is deemed defective when being imaged the unit is put through a Configuration Warranty process. A new product is setup with the appropriate suffix (CFG) and is passed to the repair centre to process via the warranty team, Repair work order is created to align engineers time and process.
- Engineer Returns  When an engineer returns his defective products he ned to ensure the product has a return label and any documentation relevant to the return( Warranty Labels are crucial) this allows us to process the items in a more cost effective way and time sensitive cost.
