About the Role
Our Retail Services Associates are the face of Harrods to our customers, often as they are exiting the store at the end of their experience with us.
We want to be memorable and create stand out moments that set us apart from others, through building strong relationships and finding swift resolutions to customer queries.
Key responsibilities include:
- Responsible for accepting Customer Collections, Private Shopping parcels, and Food Orders internally.
- Ensure the standards in the Harrods Collections department are clean, organised, and ready for store opening.
- Provide operational support by 'checking in' customer purchases.
- Use POS systems such as Enactor, Zendesk and STORM, as well as other till functions.
- Liaise with with the back of house team to ensure that items needing to be brought down to The Lobby are done so efficiently.
- Able to effectively handle a wide range of customer queries on the spot - some being complex or challenging.
About You
We are looking for an effective team player, who can demonstrate building strong relationships with peers and colleagues at all levels.
You will have a strong service focus and understand that customers are looking for quick, efficient service at this stage of their journey. Experience within an Operations setting is beneficial for this role, as you will work with our systems, dealing with stock movement and logistics as well as being customer facing.
You will also need:
- To have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good attention to detail and adhere to processes at all times, taking a logical and methodical approach to your work.
- Knowledge of point of sale systems such as Enactor, Zendesk and STORM are beneficial.
- To be a multitasker, ensuring that you can handle multiple responsibilities.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining a calm and cool manner.
