Join our IKEA Food team and help keep our restaurant and bistro running smoothly. You’ll play a key role in the dishwash area—cleaning pots, pans and tableware to ensure our kitchen, bistro and restaurant stay spotless and ready for service. From maintaining high hygiene standards to supporting the wider team during busy moments, you’ll help create a clean, welcoming environment that lets customers enjoy great food and great experiences. WHAT WE OFFER
- Start date of employment will be: February 25th 2026
- Competitive hourly rate of £14.80 per hour.
- 24 Hours, working 4 days per week including weekends, mornings and evenings. You will receive 1 in every 4 weekends off.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
- While previous food and customer service experience is beneficial, we are open to candidates who demonstrate a readiness to be actively involved in the work.
- Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced team environment.
- Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.
- Ability to remain organised and detail-orientated, even when things get busy.
- Compliance with health and safety guidelines necessitates that applicants are 18 years of age or older.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
- Your main responsibility will be to ensure crockery, cutlery and food handling equipment is clean and well maintained for service
- The role may involve a variety of tasks, so you can support the team when possible. You may be required to serve food, take payment at tills, clean and clear the work area, work behind the scenes, and safely use kitchen equipment.
- Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
- Support your colleagues, lend a hand, and create a positive work environment, contributing to a proud team.
