In this role, you will have the opportunity to conduct all activities related to the handling of parts and semi-finished or final products in the warehouse or to/from the production line. Responsible for controlling material flow between production and warehouse, booking stock movements, and ensuring material availability for production. 
 
This role will be contributing to ABB Furse in Nottingham.

Your Role and Responsibilities   

- In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.  
- Work model: Onsite - Shift pattern: 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00 
- Operate tugger routes to ensure efficient material flow between production and warehouse, maintaining continuous production availability. 
- Collect finished goods from production and deliver them to the warehouse, accurately booking stock movements in the system. 
- Supply production lines with required components from the warehouse, preventing delays and optimizing workflow. 
- Monitor tugger route schedules and adjust as needed to meet production priorities and minimize downtime. 
- Perform related logistics tasks such as sorting, packing, and transporting materials according to established procedures and safety standards. 
- Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to resolve material flow issues and maintain accurate inventory records. 

Qualifications for the Role   

- You will need to hold at least a D1 Reach Truck license. 
- Ideally you will also hold a D2 Reach Truck license – this will be needed for the role, and if you don’t have it yet, ABB will provide training to obtain it. 
- Experience in warehouse operations or internal logistics (minimum 1–2 years preferred). 
- Skilled in material handling processes and inventory management systems. 
- Ability to work with relevant tools and methodologies in a manufacturing/industrial environment. 
- Strong understanding of HSE standards and compliance requirements. 
- Effective communication skills in English.
