As a Loading Bay Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods throughout our operation each day. You will be responsible for managing deliveries and dispatches, maintaining an organised and safe loading bay environment, and supporting the seamless movement of stock across the business. By upholding the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and professionalism, you will help us deliver the exceptional service and operational excellence our guests and teams rely on.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, check, and log incoming deliveries and shipments
- Place food and beverage orders
- Coordinate with various hotel departments for timely distribution of goods
- Maintain a clean, safe, and secure loading bay environment
- Follow health & safety and manual handling procedures
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling processes
- Report damages or discrepancies promptly to the appropriate team and suppliers
- Beverage stock take and spot checks
- Close food and beverage invoices and fulfil requisitions
