All About the Role
Based at our Dartford site, we have a vacancy for a Warehouse Operative the hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 6 pm plus overtime when required.
The purpose of this role is to ensure customers’ orders are fulfilled to the highest standards in a fast-paced environment. Specific tasks could include:
- Pick computer generated orders with repetitive handling/lifting of heavy and large item
- Accurately record stock movement and usage, along with product identification and use of measuring equipment.
- Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team and on your own.
- Operate saws and handle steel
- Transferring stock to its location using Forklift trucks & overhead gantry cranes
- Assisting in the overall production and dispatch of customers’ orders.
- Maintain high levels of Health and Safety.
- Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work to meet operational requirements

Essential Skills for the role:
- Ideally have experience with steel stock holding.
- Must have experience in overhead gantry cranes.
- Experience with bandsaws/similar machinery but not essential as training will be given.
- Have a flexible attitude, be results oriented, and enjoy working in a team environment.
- Ideally have operated Fork-Lift or Side-loader but not essential as training will be given.
