Warehouse Operative Job
Salary - £13.75 per hour
Location - Rodley
THE ROLE
We are looking for reliable and responsible Warehouse Operatives to join our late shift van loading team at our Rodley site.
This role is the final step before our products leave site. You will be responsible for loading vans accurately and safely, checking finished products, and making sure each delivery is ready to leave on time. Your work directly impacts customer experience and our reputation for quality.
This is a hands-on and very physical role suited to someone who takes pride in doing the job properly and understands the importance of accuracy, care, and teamwork.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Loading vans accurately and safely to delivery plans
- Checking and finishing timber products before dispatch
- Picking and preparing orders for delivery
- Using warehouse equipment such as FLTs, banding machines, and pallet trucks
- Moving vans around the yard when required
- Working as part of a busy late shift team to meet loading deadlines
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- A valid driving licence is essential, as you will be required to move vans around the yard
- FLT licence is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided
- Previous warehouse experience is helpful but not required
- A proactive, flexible, and responsible approach to work
- Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality output
- Flexibility to stay beyond 11.00pm when required to complete loading
