We are currently looking for a Grade 3 Warehouse Operative (day shift) to join our team. This role will be based at our SDC site in Northampton (NN7 2FR). However, for the first 3 months, this role will be based at Tilbrook (MK7 8BN).
We are offering a salary of £30,997.79 per annum. This is working Monday – Friday on the day shift (8am-5pm 4 weeks out of 5, with the 5th week working 6am-3pm). However, this will change to a 5 days out of 7 pattern once moved to Northampton.
As a Grade 3 Warehouse Operative, you will support the effective running of the warehouse operation with the focus on picking, loading, unloading, reworking of products, inbound and outbound functions across the site.

Additional key tasks:
- As directed, safely picking a variety of products to rework to customer specification and loading products to specified deadlines.
- Follow Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Work Instructions (WI).
- Safely handle products during inbound and outbound processes, adhering to company procedures to minimise damage and prevent injuries.
- Appropriate use of MHE (Manual Handling Equipment) as directed and in accordance with training.
- Support warehouse efficiency by carrying out additional reasonable requests.
- Collaborate with colleagues to build positive working relationships.
- Follow all Health and Safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and report concerns to your Line Manager.
- Perform equipment checks and report any defects promptly.
- Ensure any concerns, issues or variances are communicated immediately to your Line Manager, to allow the appropriate to be taken in a swift manner.
