What Will You Be Doing?
As a Warehouse Operator supporting our non-bonded customers, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Efficient Communication: Managing the mailbox and promptly responding to enquiries
- Freight Handling: Receiving inbound freight using the GXD system & WMS and booking in and processing outbound freight using the same systems.
- Forklift Operations: Safely loading and unloading vehicles using a forklift.
- Freight Sorting: Sorting and splitting freight according to customer SOP's
- Regulatory Compliance: Adhering to all procedures set by regulatory bodies, such as CAA, ETSF, as directed.
- Warehouse Management System: Utilising handheld scanners
- Manual Handling: Frequently performing manual handling tasks.
- Health and Safety: Ensuring compliance with all health and safety and in-house procedures.
- Material Handling Equipment: Using all MHE (Material Handling Equipment) as trained.
About You:
- Warehouse Experience: Previous experience working within a warehouse environment is essential.
- Reach Truck License: Holding a Reach Truck license is essential for this position.
- Desirable License: Possession of a Counterbalance license would be advantageous.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in basic computer skills.
- Time Management: Excellent timekeeping and attendance are essential qualities.
