What You’ll Do

- Provide a warm, professional welcome to all visitors and colleagues, reflecting the Avanti West Coast brand.
- Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Work closely with the Executive HQ Support and Property Teams to maintain a collaborative and productive environment.
- Organise and support Responsible Business initiatives, including charity awareness and sustainability projects.
- Handle a variety of tasks; from booking meeting rooms and managing office supplies to supporting frontline teams during disruption.
- Maintain strict confidentiality while working in a fast-paced, lively environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee meeting room bookings and ensure equipment is ready for use.
- Manage office communications, including email, telephone, and post.
- Liaise with suppliers and partners to maintain strong relationships.
- Process purchase orders and invoices using our Neptune accounting tool.
- Deliver reception and mail services and keep the office clutter-free.
- Monitor and order stationery and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with security and safety measures, including managing access passes.
- Act as Fire Precaution Manager and First Aid Officer to keep colleagues safe.
- Coordinate travel and accommodation bookings as required.
- Provide holiday/sickness cover at our Birmingham office reception when needed.

What We’re Looking For:

- 1 years minimum experience as an office receptionist. 
- A proactive, organised individual who thrives in a busy environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional manner.
- Ability to multitask and show initiative, with a strong sense of confidentiality.
- Compassion and problem-solving skills to handle any situation with confidence.
