Location - Southampton

The ideal candidate will be a reliable and safety‑focused team player who can confidently manage daily FLT checks, follow company SOPs, handle inbound vehicles correctly, and ensure products are stored, picked, and loaded with exceptional accuracy and care. They will take pride in maintaining high housekeeping standards, uphold strong Health & Safety awareness, support inventory tasks, and work collaboratively across the warehouse. A proactive approach to problem‑solving, a willingness to assist colleagues, and the flexibility to take on additional operational duties as needed are essential.

Purpose of Role: To efficiently handle, store and rotate stock working within a team environment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

- To ensure FLT’s are checked daily, recorded on relevant sheets and defects reported.
- Work to standard operating procedures in line with company policy.
- Deal with inbound vehicles following the correct company procedure.
- Ensure safe handling, storage & repacking of all products in line with stock locations.
- High level of care and accuracy with pick operations.
- Load distribution vehicles in a safe, presentable manner and highlight all errors and damages prior to completion.
- Maintain high standards of site housekeeping.
- Maintain high levels of Health and Safety awareness and report any areas of concern to the Supervisor immediately.
- Assist with inventory counting when necessary.
- Support Warehouse Team Leader with all day-to-day tasks.
- To action any other elements to fulfil the operational needs of the business.
- Any other reasonable duties as allocated by the Warehouse Supervisor/ Manager.

What we are looking for in our Warehouse Operator:

- Positive, enthusiastic, dedicated and able to fit into a busy and productive team
- Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics role
- Forklift licence (essential)
- Previous exposure to inland freight operations and customs processes
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of warehouse work
- Comfortable with physical tasks and desk-based work
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 - Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and internal systems.
