Job Description
- Ensure detailed work instructions are being followed to receive deliveries, make stock transfers and movements.
- Ensure all picking requirements are completed accurately and on time to meet customer needs.
- Make sure all orders are packaged and labelled as per the required specification.
- Prepare and marshal items for collection and delivery.
- Escalate accordingly any differences identified between physical and theoretical stocks.
- Record and store paperwork electronically as required.
- Follow quality standards and specifications at all times.
- Raise any quality concerns over received goods.
- Check that goods are shipped on time and in full to the customer.
- Follow all procedures and PPE requirements to ensure there is no risk to health and safety.
- Demonstrate a safe attitude to work.
- Keep the workbench and office areas clean and tidy following the principles of 5S.
- Maintain good housekeeping at all times throughout the warehouse.
- Contribute to departmental projects and continuous improvement activity within the department.
