Night Food and Beverage Assistant Job in London

Full Time Night Food and Beverage Assistant Job

Job Type - Full Time
Salary - £14.80/ hour
Location - London

Whether you're guiding someone through the menu or delivering their food with care and attention, you'll help create an experience that feels calm, personal and reassuring. Our food is prepared to an exceptional standard, and you'll play a key part in presenting it with the warmth and professionalism it deserves. It takes a special kind of person to do this role, but if you naturally bring a warmth and confidence to the way you interact with others, we're confident you'll fit right in here.

Above all else, we're committed to the care and improvement of human life. It's this guiding vision that influences everything we do at HCA UK. From the CEO to the colleagues on the floor we all have a part to play in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Other's may think this is just a role in Hotel Services but to us, you'll be part of a wider team with a unique sense of purpose, one that helps improve lives on a daily basis.

What you'll do:

You'll deliver a standard of service no different to a high-end hotel or restaurant, where the focus is on being attentive and giving people a positive experience. Meals are an important part of any hospital stay, and you'll help make that experience smooth and comfortable by:

- Helping patients choose meals, taking orders and delivering food across the hospital
- Preparing and collecting meal trays promptly
- Answering phone requests and communicating dietary needs to the kitchen
- Keeping work areas clean, washing utensils and maintaining hygiene standards
- Recording additional requests and following all allergen and dietary safety policies

What we're looking for:

We're looking for someone who puts people first - someone who knows how to support others in a busy environment and can bring that confidence into patient-facing conversations. As well as this, you'll:

- Have previous hospitality, retail or customer-service experience
- Be confident in speaking with patients and colleagues
- Take pride in delivering warm, attentive service
- Demonstrate good awareness of food hygiene standards
- Have a flexible, reliable approach during busy periods

Being part of a large multisite, established healthcare group we can offer you unrivalled opportunities for career progression through internal and external courses, as well as working conditions that prioritise both your mental and physical wellbeing.
