Who Are We Looking For?
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will take responsibility for receiving and dispatching Company and/or Client goods and ensuring operational activities are implemented to deliver exceptional support. You will also be responsible for completing all warehouse activities and manage expectations alongside the Warehouse Manager while ensuring all operational objectives are fully achieved.
The successful candidate must have experience of warehousing, a counterbalance FLT licence and using MS Office packages. If you have good warehouse skills and you have relevant experience, you could be the person we are looking for!
What Does Your New Role Look Like?
Working as part of a wider team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring we deliver world class service to our clients. You will do this by:
- Providing key information to the Warehouse Manager prior to a project going live and then ongoing within agreed timescales.
- Working closely with the Warehouse Manager and account teams to identify potential opportunities for the business.
- Ensure good working knowledge of Insite (Momentum’s proprietary system) and other database systems.
- Ensure accurate information of stock control requirements, manpower and storage space.
- Report stock shortages and/or damage at the earliest opportunity.
- Provide accurate stock checks when required.
- Ensure the safe storage of stock.
- Respond to requests from the Head of Warehouse Operations in an efficient and timely manner.
- Assist the Warehouse Manager to ensure all operational difficulties are responded to in an efficient and professional manner. Provide practical solutions to resolve any issues while keeping the relevant client and account teams informed and updated throughout the process.
- Assist the Warehouse Manager to ensure daily/weekly updates and/or reports are received within the timescales set by the Head of Warehouse Operations.
- Identify any cost saving opportunities and liaise with the Warehouse Manager.
- Ensure all work is implemented to the highest possible standard and in line with account KPI’s.
- Attend training and briefing sessions as required.
- Responsible for the management of intermittent and agency staff.
- Ensure that any intermittent and agency staff are clear on their responsibilities and are completing delegated tasks to the required expectations.
- Ensure all HR and H&S issues are brought to the attention of the Warehouse Manager and dealt with accordingly.
